Hi, I'm Clark.

I look forward to learning about you and your goals, so I'd like to first start by introducing myself.

Those who know me know that family is the most important. My beautiful bride and I have been married since 1998, and together we've raised three pretty awesome kids. These days, our family is growing in all the best ways. Our oldest is married, and along with him we gained a wonderful daughter-in-law, a spunky granddaughter, and another little one on the way! Our middle son is following in my footsteps in the mortgage industry, and our youngest is busy doing great things at her local high school.

You may know me as Clark, though many know me as Shep, as I have the honor of pastoring a church community in Novi, Michigan.

I've been doing this a long time.

I've been in the mortgage industry since 2006, and in that time I've seen just about everything. Some loans are pretty straightforward. Others take a little more creativity, a lot more digging, and someone who knows where to look for the answer. I genuinely enjoy both.

I especially love working with first-time homebuyers, making sure you understand what's happening, why it's happening, and what your options are along the way.

There are no dumb questions here.

I also have extensive experience with self-employed borrowers and more complicated income or loan scenarios. Whether you're buying before selling, using bonus or commission income, considering FHA or VA, working through credit issues, or you've simply got a situation that doesn't fit neatly into a checkbox—those are the conversations I enjoy having.
